Winner of Woollahra Councils Conservation Award and located in one of Double Bay’s most select waterfront reserve positions is this Spanish inspired art deco heritage listed home. Personally managed by Jeremy, large works were undertaken to create a meticulously detailed home comprising of restored original ceilings and cornices, period lighting and fittings and rich Queensland Maple throughout. Large underpinning and rock excavation works were undertaken to connect the newly extended garage to the interior of the property also including polished concrete to the garage floor. The attic conversion created a large bedroom/office space with a large flat copper roofed dormer. A new extension to the side allowed for an extra bedroom and a large water fronted balcony with traditional terrazzo floor detailed to match existing. What once was a three bedroom single level residence with a disconnected single car garage was left a fully connected five bedroom, four storey heritage listed home with a two car garage.
